Models with GPS function can be used with a sondes for non metal pipe location
In order to locate non-metal pipes, a Sondes can be attached to the front of a drain rod and pushed down inside a pipe that doesn’t contain any metal in its composition. The Sondes can only be used with the kits that also have GPS functionality (model number end with a "G")
The Sondes transmits a 512Hz frequency from inside the pipe, which is then detected by the receiver above ground.
