BT1-DL Ultrasonic Bolt Tension Monitor
The BT1-DL Ultrasonic Bolt Tension Monitor, formerly known as the MINIMAX, is a state of the art instrument designed to measure elongation produced by tightening a threaded fastener. It accurately measures the elongation of fasteners of virtually any material from 1/2 inch to 10 feet in length. The measurement is achieved by determining the change in the transit time of an ultrasonic shock wave along the length of the fastener as the fastener is tightened. The on-board microcomputer automatically interprets this time measurement to display the time(nanoseconds), elongation, load, stress, or % strain from stretching a fastener.

The BT2-DL Ultrasonic Bolt Tension Monitor, formerly known as the MAX II is designed for precision measurement of fasteners up to 100 ft / 30 m in length. It incorporates all of the great features of the original MINIMAX, with improved features, hardware, speed, and range. The BT2-DL is designed for use in a wide range of industrial and lab applications including wind turbines. It enables you to accurately monitor bolt tension ultrasonically, measuring the elongation (change in length) of your bolts. Revisiting bolts over time, to measure deterioration is possible. The new "Auto Correlation" feature that helps you to optimize your transducer placement. Together with the large QVGA sunlight readable color display and the calibration function, it is very easy to use without the steep learning curves associated with other models.
